According to the Decree of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine №655 (10.06.2016) National Technical University of Ukraine «Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute» is included in the list of universities who have the right to prepare students according to the Doctors of Philosophy program in full-time or part-time study, budget and contractual forms of education.
Department of Ecology and Polymer Plant Technology prepares doctors of philosophy in the following specialties:
•101 Ecology
Students with Masters degree in these or similar specialties are invited.
For entrances, who have Masters diploma in fields of knowledge (specialty), other than our PhD specialties, the additional entrance examinations may be assigned. Additional entrance examinations are evaluated by scale of "passed" "not passed". An entrant who has received "not passed" not allowed to pass the entrance examination.
All PhD students receive a scholarshipduring all period of study(4 years). Students can be provided with dormitories.
Students with a master's or specialist degree are invited to study at the PhD program. Only persons who have submitted all the necessary documents in time are admitted to the competitive selection. admission rules
The list of required documents:
- application for admission;
- questionary
- copy of the document (one of the documents), which certifying the person, according to the Law of Ukraine "Unified State Demographic Register and documents confirming the citizenship of Ukraine, identity or special status"
- copy of the military registration document
- four color photos (size 3х4 см)
- copy of master's or specialist diploma with annex
- copy of the registration number of the taxpayer's account card
- extract from the meeting of the faculty Academic Council
- list of published scientific works and inventions
Entrance rating can be calculated by the formula:
КБ = 0,5×ІС + 0,3×ІМ + 0,15×ДБ + 0,05×БД
Де:
ІС - mark of the entrance exam by specialty;
ІМ - mark of the entrance exam in a foreign language;
ДБ - additional points for educational and scientific achievements;
БД - the average score of higher education diploma annex (scale from 100 to 200 points)
The order of receiving an additional points for educational and scientific achievements:
- 10 points (each article) - publications in professional journals
- 30 points (each article) - publications in journals, included to Scopus or Web of Science
- 20 points - diploma of the winner and prize-winner of International and All-Ukrainian student olympiads, first place
- 15 points - diploma of the winner and prize-winner of International and All-Ukrainian student olympiads, second place
- 10 points - diploma of the winner and prize-winner of International and All-Ukrainian student olympiads, third place
- 15 points - patent
*maximal quantity of additional points can not exceed 200 points.
