Sirenko Lyudmila
Technical Sciences Candidate

Sirenko L. graduated KPI in 1975. After she worked as a junior researcher associate at the Department of Technical Cybernetics. Studied in postgraduate school (1978-1981 years). Technical Sciences Candidate (1983). Since 1988 year - Assistant of Ecology and Plant Polymers Technology Department. Since 1992 - Associate professor. Conducts educational and scientific research work in the practical application of mathematical methods to solve problems in the field of ecology. Prepared and teaches the following courses: "Ecological Expertise ", " Environmental Modeling and Forecasting ", "Methods of Mathematical Statistics in Ecology", besides lectures on the course "Ecology", conducts workshops for the course "Standardization of anthropogenic impact on the environment ". Author of more than 40 scientific publications.


The course "Ecological Expertise" is dedicated for bachelor students in 6.040106 "Ecology, Environmental Protection and Natural Resource Management". The academic program comprise theoretical and practical training in the normative (mandatory) part (cycle of professional and practical training). The purpose of this course is to develop in students the complex knowledge and skills necessary to establish compliance between ecological expertise objects and requirements of ecological laws and sanitary codes.

Semester 6, 3 credits ECTS /108 academic hours
Distribution of study time: 27 hours of lectures / 9 hours of workshops.


The course "Environmental Modeling and Forecasting" is dedicated for bachelor students in 6.040106 "Ecology, Environmental Protection and Natural Resource Management". The academic program comprise theoretical and practical training in the normative (mandatory) part (сycle of professional and practical training). The purpose of this course is to develop in students the complex knowledge and skills on the system analysis of complex processes in ecology and in their relationship with the applied aspects of mathematical ecology.

Semester 7, 5 credits ECTS /180 academic hours
Distribution of study time: 18 hours of lectures / 54 hours of laboratory works.


The course "Methods of Mathematical Statistics in Ecology" is dedicated for specialists and masters in 6.040106 "Ecology, Environmental Protection and Natural Resource Management", specialty "Ecology and Environmental Protection". The academic program comprise theoretical and practical training on selective parts: the discipline of choice institution of higher education (Specialist) and the choice of students (Master). The purpose of this course is to develop in students the complex knowledge and skills that are required for statistical processing of information in under conditions of uncertainty and the application of statistical methods to calculate the main parameters of environmental pollution.

Semester 1, 8 credits /288 academic hours
Distribution of study time: 36 hours of lectures / 18 hours of workshops / 54 hours of laboratory works/1 course work.
